why does every religion think its better than the other relgions out there.

for example cristanity and cathlic religions. its like a none stoping war

Hi, DC. A real answer to your questions would take pages. Here is a short version.

Humankind is culturally programmed to unquestioningly believe in certain absolute truths. The survival beyond physical death promised by Western religions is the greatest truth most people have - after buying into to all the ceremony and dogma. It also involves surrendering free thought to and suppressing criticism of the faith. Therefore, whatever the faith says is true - is true.

Of course, when another faith has a different version of God, it violates the truth as the believers know it. The other belief is false. It is heresy. It is evil, bad, and has to be eliminated. So the true believers, now devoid of functional thought, attack the heretics to protect the true "Word of God", whatever that is.

It is infinitely more complex than this. Politics, power, money, etc. all factor in to religious wars and hatreds. A last example. the First Crusade was reportedly not started to rescue the Christian Holy Land from the Muslims - as was told to the tens of thousands who fought and died on that side. It was due to the Byzantine Empire losing tax revenue from lands that left the Empire after Muslims took over the territory.

Religion is a tool for power, because so many people life for it. So if you have power over a religion, then you have power over the ones who follow it, which in this case are millions. This is why, as you say, there is a non-stop war.
