Amethystos

I once heard..I think it was on this forum, not quite sure, that Sekhmet was a version/side of Aset. In mythology Sekhmet became intoxicated when Ra poured in front of her a liquid that appeared to be blood but indeed was beer(or wine, I am not quite sure). Amethyst (amethystos in Ancient/modern Greek) means not-drunk (sober). Is there a connection there? Or is it just me over analyzing things as usual?

By the way, I also hear that Sekhmet is the daughter of Ra...which confuses me...someone please enlighten me and forgive me if I sound foolish.
