Thank you, Aghrab, for your insight. I have sat here thinking in regard to your answer and my thoughts took me back to my first time leaving my body. I found myself standing in the small space between my bed and wall in my bedroom. I thought that rather strange as the space I was now standing in seemed about 4 feet and opened. Not an inch or two as supposed. I looked across the room at the clock and found how strange I could not tell the time as there were no hands showing on that clock. Then out of no place I heard a voice that said there is no such thing as time here. Thinking that space and time are really different today, what is going on here. I was startled and wondered who's voice spoke to me. Then looking around the room I saw myself lying in the bed.......and that really startled me and that drew me back into my body. I have never seen any cord in any of my travels as others speak of and I do not have any shaking or vibrations of the body when leaving as most others do.

Based on what the teachers of projection tell us in books and such, that every night we sleep, we are out of our body whether we remember or not. I recall my mother, very excited, called on the phone and told me that she was sitting and watching tv late one night in a lounge chair. She was startled when I walked into the room in front of her. I lived 600 miles away at the time. I had a beautiful rose in my hand and I reached out to give it to her and then as she reached out to take it........I disappeared from in front of her. She commented that it was the most beautiful rose she had ever seen. The reason I am relating this to you is that.......I did not remember it at all. Although other times I do remember vistiing her. It has now become a joke between us when she calls and tells me.....you have been out visiting me again. LOL.

I offer this as a possible question for others to address whether we all travel out of our body each night as we sleep? If so, we are all doing even much better than we thought in our attempt to experience astral projection. All we need do is be able to remember so of those experiences.

Sincerely,

Maxx

It is said that during sleep each night, our energy bodies (also known as 'vitality sheath' or 'etheric body') is put to 'charge', where it expands and opens in order to accumulate and store energy. When expanded, our chakras flow in power in the form of etheric matter, into our energy body. It is also said that our energy bodies can only do this during sleep, in its expanded state. While this process of 'recharging' is taking place, our astral body then separates and tunes into the astral dimension where it can experience dreams... Or create them.

However, if this process of separation is done consciously, or you become aware of it, there is a possibility to take control over it, where it can then become OBE (out of body experience), lucid dream, astral projection etc.

Maxx, you also said "We all travel out of our body each night as we sleep? If so, we are all doing even much better than we thought in our attempt to experience astral projection." Well, we do travel out of our bodies during sleep, however, the obstacles keeping us from actually "doing better at astral projection during sleep" are, I believe, three things. One is whether or not we can become aware of the separation that occurs during sleep. The second is if we can take control over the experience after the separation, which then connects to the third obstacle, which is if we can identify 'what' it is we want to experience, and how we can accomplish it. Remembering the experience is not just an obstacle, it is one of the main abilities that must be practised and worked on. Otherwise, what is the point if you cannot remember or recall your experience?

Your words are very insightful, Aghrab. Thank you so much for taking the time to talk with me.

Your last sentence I must ask you to consider the fact that I am at present in belief that the astral body or out of body, is the real body. I believe it is our natural state. Therefore, our memory bank should be there all the time instead of here (which it is not as we all know). This is the part that we are trying to work on by our ability to remember. The recharging of our astral body each night from our physical (our battery, so to speak) is a process that we have to be a part of. I think most of us think the physical is the real part of us but I believe, now, that the real "us" is the astral.

Also, I find most of my activity takes place in the last REM activity of the night just before waking for the day. One might be able to set the alarm an hour earlier and get up for a few minutes and then go back to bed and focus on the point one wishes to travel to. Since I find that Lifeforce is mental, when I want to instantly go to another place in the astral, we are immediately there. If we can get control of the real me/you/us and realize where that is located at all times, and this was what you referred to in your other post, I suspect more control we can activate over this entire process. Like, sending the real me/you/us out of our body a head of us to view what is around the corner as we walk a head of us. This is somewhat the practice session of the Russian chess players. They are blindfolded early on in their practice and play this way to develop the ability to see the opponents move even with their eyes closed.

Thank you for your interactions. I knew you had vast knowledge in this area because of the way you formed your questions from the other posts.
Please give us more of your knowledge so we might learn from you. I know you are a private person, but your misson is to help others here.

I love this forum

Sincerely,

Maxx
