A Couple of Questions
I was just wondering, what resources did you use to gather this information?
Do you consider vampirism to have originated in Egypt? If so, how did you come to that conclusion?
I've got more questions, but they'll wait ... for now.

Re: A Couple of Questions
Hello Akasha and welcome to the forum.
I am not sure about everyone in here, but several of us research vampirism for a very long time and use many different resources.
In what comes to the ties between vampirism and Egypt we use several scholarly accepted texts, together with Egyptian sacred texts as the papyrus of the Book of the Dead, Coffin Texts and the Pyramid Texts, along with all we can interpret under this light from the hieroglyphs in the temples. Some people in here are Egyptologists, and others have worked in Egypt doing research for long. However, our conclusions and opinions are by no means final... it is a constant process of discovery. Keep in mind that not all of us here are vampires or otherkin, but simply scholars that are dedicated to this research and hidden knowledge.
Still under a Kemetic light, we also use as a reference the Asetian Bible published by the Aset Ka, that remains the best source publicly written that ties vampirism to Ancient Egypt with a believable and mature spiritual tradition that can be studied by scholars without getting a smell of fiction. The AK certainly has many more resources and texts, and although some of us had access to a few of those things along the years of our research, I am pretty sure that not everyone in here has read them or analyzed those things yet.
But interesting that you have posted your thread, although generic, in the category related to the Anubian Keepers. I take it that you feel somehow related to Anpu and are interested in his otherkin lineage (the Keepers). If that is the case it will be very positive to have more people interested in Anubis around, since the Keepers and the connections to Anubis represent such a vital and important part of the whole Asetian tradition.

Re: A Couple of Questions
Em Hotep, Maktub ...
I do associate with Anpu as I am one of the founders/owners of a group called the House of Anubis. In this House, I am the Hemet Anpu.
I came to this forum because a link was posted on one of the vampirism e-lists I'm on. I wanted to see if, perhaps, this forum had intelligent life forms (as compared to other forums, which don't).
My curiosity on the origins of vampirism lie in the fact that a lot of folks are under the assumption that it came from within the borders of Egypt. I'm a researcher and I'm merely trying to find evidence of this. Concrete evidence.
As for making my post in this particular forum, I suppose that was done because of my association with Anpu. That and I weren't sure where else to post it.

Re: A Couple of Questions
Em Hotep, Akasha.
It's good to see someone from House of Anubis (of which I've heard about some times) being interested in Asetianism, particularly this "otherkin" lineage (Keepers). Why don't you introduce yourself and your organization in the Off-Topic? We'd surely like to know more about you.
Best regards,
Karnath.

Re: A Couple of Questions
That would be interesting indeed.
And welcome Akasha.
And welcome Akasha.
I gaze into the Eyes of the Winged Mother and see myself reflected in Her eyes. My soul soars high as I look into the Eyes of Immortal Love of a Primordial Heart.
Fear not, the breath of a Dragon. Fear not, the scales or wings. Fear not, the claws or teeth. What you should fear; is the wisdom, protection, and love a Dragon has to offer.
