Keepers used to be not just friends and protectors of the Asetians, but also like a special force of the Aset Ka, entrusted with the most bizzarre missions, that could be enlightening or simply unethical as an assassination. However they were mostly used in missions to protect specific Asetians, especially important Elders.

I can see many parallels between the Keepers of the Aset Ka and the Jedi of StarWars.

I was reading about a concept in the Asetian Bible called the Violet Flame. It is described as a manifestation of the Divine inside every Asetian. It works through a dump of energy through the seventh chakra and is activated by ethereal touch. It induces feelings of happiness and peace, and cleanses the subtle system. Could it be at all possible for an unawakened Asetian to make contact with an awakened Asetian, albeit unwittingly, and then be 'tested' through a series of questions....? *shrugs*

The AB goes into quite some detail about the varying characteristics and personal traits between the lineages, but doesnt mention much about anything where parenting is concerned.

I would assume that the chances of an Asetian becoming a parent through their incarnations, is quite high.

Now, it states that an Asetians indifference to humans, even those closest to them on a biological level - mothers, fathers, etc - can increase especially after the awakening...would this not cause a conflict ...
